Tee up an evening with Chris Nashawaty, film critic for Entertainment Weekly and author of the new book Caddyshack: The Making of a Hollywood Cinderella Story at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA).

The book is a rollicking, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the classic film that is fraught with sex, drugs, and gopher holes. Nashawaty also tells the origin story of modern comedy. The result is a richly reported book as rollicking and quotable as the film it honors.

At this event, it is your only chance for early registration, and reduced foursome fees, to play the 2018 SECCA Slam for Art, the world's most artistic charity golf tournament, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Salem Glen.

5-6:15 PM: SECCA Slam early registration, book signing, cocktails & hors-d'oeuvres

6:30-8 PM: Author Talk

Tickets allow you to meet Nashawaty, get your book signed, enjoy free gourmet, wine, Foothills Beer and hand-mixed drinks featuring Piedmont Distiller's Junior Johnson Moonshine. Books can be purchased here and Bookmarks will have your book waiting at the event, or you can purchase from them on-site for $22 each, or you can bring your copy from home.
