RiverRun International Film Festival proudly welcomes students and teachers from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, for a special screening of the documentary We Are the Change on October 19.

Friday, October 19, 2018 @ 7:00 p.m. | McChesney Scott Dunn Auditorium

The film examines how the tragic events earlier this year inspired many of the surviving students to take on activist roles and illustrates the importance of students becoming activists on behalf of causes important to them. While visiting RiverRun, the students and teachers will visit area schools in addition to the public screening on October 19 at SECCA. Special guests include three students along with two teachers from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and the filmmaker. They will participate in discussions and Q&A sessions at both the school and public screenings.

Tickets for the public screening will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be available at the door.

This program is presented with support from Marley Drug Company.
