For SECCA, the New Year comes every July 1 as we follow the state's fiscal budget. We have high aspirations for 2017-2018 and hope you will help us get off to a great start!

YOU make SECCA possible. Our yearly budget depends heavily on private donations 72% in fact. SECCA receives only 28% of its funding from the state and the rest is up to us.
As many of you know, massive shifts in federal funding will impact all arts organizations, including possibly impacting SECCA and our ability to operate free of charge. We want to ensure SECCA remains accessible to everyone.
Our plans for this upcoming year include continuing to offer free admission to our exhibits, artist talks, educational programs, 2nd Saturdays at SECCA and other events. Our funding also impacts our ability to collaborate with other non-profits such as Authoring Action, ABC of NC and the Institute for the Blind.
In addition to the amazing contemporary art inside of our 11,000 sqft galleries, we offer the community a lush respite with 32-acres of grounds, nature trails, shaded lawns and a stocked fishing lake — all free of charge.
Please consider how SECCA positively impacts -- either directly or indirectly -- your family & friends, school children, neighbors, the local economy and the community at large when you decide to give a tax-deductible gift.
For more than 60 years, SECCA has been a vibrant arts center located right here in Winston-Salem. Please work with us to continue SECCA's legacy!
