Explore the intersection of art and nature with landscape architect Preston Montague

Thursday, May 18, 2023 @ 6:00 pm | Auditorium Lobby

Wild Ones @ SECCA is a four-part conversation series exploring the relationship between our health and the health of our planet through the written word, sound, and visual art. This series is presented in partnership with the Central North Carolina chapter of Wild Ones, and in conjunction with SECCA's current exhibition, Lauren Strohacker: Old Red, I know Where Thou Dwellest.

For the fourth installment of Wild Ones @ SECCA, landscape architect Preston Montague will share his knowledge of landscaping for birds, butterflies, and wildlife along with his fine art botanical drawings. For Preston, landscape architecture is a form of healthcare. His projects encourage stronger relationships between people and the natural world for the purpose of improving public and environmental health.
