SECCA is proud to present NIGHT MOODS, a new nocturnal concert series exploring the electronic and hypnotic at the historic Hanes House. The series will explore the intersection of electronic music, technology and digital art while juxtaposing the stately environment of the Hanes House with cutting edge sounds and visuals. The inaugural show features Triangle-based electronic stalwarts Body Games, with rising local star Flower in Bloom. Tickets are $10 advance, $13 at the door. Tickets are on sale now!

NIGHT MOODS is sponsored by STITCH Design Shop and Radar Brewing Company.

ABOUT BODY GAMES

Body Games is Dax Beaton, Kate Thompson and Adam Graetz. Using a luscious mixture of synthesizers and samples laid over methodical beats, we make club bangers for introverts. On stage, video is projected onto a massive, translucent scrim sheet that is suspended in front of the band, combined with a synchronized and colorful light show that adds another dimension to our live sound. Listen to Body Games at Bandcamp.

ABOUT FLOWER IN BLOOM

"From a shy kid in the church choir, McNeil blossomed into a vocalist, with a foundation rooted in her sense of authenticity and artistry. Dismissing artistic comparison, she lists a backbone of influences amongst artists like April, Ravyn Lanae, Frank Ocean, and Tyler, the Creator. 'I love their sounds and the way they structure their songs and melodies,' she explained. 'I challenge myself to ride that wave when I create my music.' " Read more from Yes! Weekly, and listen to Flower in Bloom on Spotify.
