SECCA is proud to partner with W-S Fashion Week once again for a virtual Lockdown Fashion exhibition.
A joint collaboration with SECCA and Winston-Salem Fashion Week, this second-annual group show is primarily aimed at designers participating in Winston-Salem Fashion Week, and artists and designers in North Carolina who work with fashion and fashion-related media. Our first year was a resounding success. Due to the circumstances of this year, the exhibition will be online instead of in-person.
Eligible artwork includes photographs of two-dimensional sketches, prints and drawings of planned or existing fashion objects and wearable art, and photographs and videos from fashion shows and related events. Photographs of sculptures and other three dimensional works are also accepted. All images and videos must be high quality and original. If you are a designer and are submitting photographs taken by a different person, please include all relevant credit info. We are looking for artwork that complements the events of WSFW, and showcases your creativity!
Artwork needs to be submitted by Friday, September 3, and will be juried in by SECCA and WSFW staff. We are unable to predict the number of entries, so some submitted works of art may not make it into the final show.
Designer Submission Criteria:
Eligibility: Anyone who is studying or working in North Carolina, with a preference given to residents of the Greater Winston-Salem area.
Where: This virtual exhibition will be available to anyone with an internet connection
When: Artwork is due via online submission on Friday, September 3, 2020. The exhibition will launch online starting September 25, 2020.
