SECCA is proud to present the NIGHT MOODS, a nocturnal concert series exploring the electronic and hypnotic at the historic Hanes House on SECCA's Grounds. The 5th installment of the series features LIMINAL SPACE, a musical visual experience featuring music by Marteka Fair (Winston-Salem) and stunning visual projections by Fluxxss. Doors and bar open at 6pm, with music starting at 7pm.

NIGHT MOODS explores the interplay of electronic music, technology and digital art while juxtaposing the stately environment of the Hanes House with cutting edge sounds and visuals.
ABOUT MARTEKA FAIR
Marteka Fair is an experienced and sensate selector from Winston Salem, North Carolina. Through a dense resume of live and recorded performances, including an invitation to perform at Dustin Zahn's Great Beyond festival in Franklin, MN, a heavyweight support set for Perc and a recording for Berlin's HÖR and Backhaus she has developed a highly expressive approach to club music, drawing from a background in concert percussion and a deep understanding of polymorphous dance rhythms. The eclectic nature of her DJ sets points to exceptional taste and an encyclopedic awareness and love of dance music. In 2023, alongside North Carolina-based video artist Fluxxss, she started developing and performing the mixed-media concert series called "Liminal Space," crossing techno with the visual realm.
ABOUT FLUXXSS
Fluxxss is a video artist based out of Durham, North Carolina. Influenced by new wave and avant-garde film; Fluxxss has developed a glitch-inspired style wherein they employ a heavy use of repetition, layering, and analogue techniques to create visual landscapes that highlight the connection and commonalities between digital and spiritual spaces.
