Join us for this special series of wellness programs and discover the meditative process of suminagashi, a traditional Japanese paper marbling technique.

Wednesday, April 21, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm | Main Gallery

This week's workshop will be led by Joyce Teta and will explore the intersection of suminagashi and drawing.

During these fun and relaxing workshops, participants will learn about the history of the practice and gain hands-on experience making beautiful, one-of-a-kind marbled works of art on paper. Sign up for one or all three workshops – each will explore a distinct form of suminagashi and will yield a unique piece of artwork and creative experience!

Presented by Sawtooth School for Visual Art as part of SECCA's Liminal Projects series.
