Originally launched in 2019 and revived last spring, SECCA's Art Bites series pairs contemporary artists with artisanal chefs for intimate and highly unique dinner experiences in the Hanes House living room.

SECCA is proud to host the next Art Bites dinner experience on Friday, March 22 featuring architect Nisha Mary Prasad of FRIEND and Chef Jordan Rainbolt of Native Root. Limited to 25 guests, this seated dinner features multiple courses and includes wine.

ABOUT NISHA MARY PRASAD

Nisha was born and raised in Queens, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from N.Y.I.T. and a Master of Architecture + Urban Design from Columbia University. Prior to co-founding Friend, Nisha worked from Manhattan to Miami specializing in high end commercial architecture and interior design and most recently practiced as a sole proprietor in Winston Salem at NM Design Collab. Nisha has also spent the past ten years teaching design and visualization courses both at N.Y.I.T. and most recently at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Nisha is a registered Architect in New York.

ABOUT JORDAN RAINBOLT

Jordan Rainbolt is a private chef who uses indigenous ingredients and global inspiration to create unique tasting experiences. She comes to North Carolina by way of Kansas City, Missouri. Whether it's by pulling from her family's Native heritage, her training in Korea, or her experience in a variety of cuisines for more than a decade, Chef Jordan loves to blur the lines under the heat. She is proud of her roots and the inspiration that continues to drive her curiosity.

Jordan's respect for ingredients and their sources is one to be admired. She constantly pushes the boundaries of cooking through research, experimentation, and collaboration. Her appreciation for the earth and its roots are evident in every bite. She lets the ingredients tell her what they want.

Handicap parking for the Hanes House is located directly in front of the historic home, on the cobblestone driveway.
